I’ve been so blessed this year with an AMAZING group of Senior Reps! Each one of them has their own personality and uniqueness!  So with that in mind, I thought I would do something different with my 2012 Senior Reps and do a personal interview with each of them so you can get to know them better. Each week I’m going to “spotlight” a 2012 Senior Rep for CHP. The next lucky person chosen is Miss Caitlyn!

What High School do you attend? Dutch Fork High School

After college what are your plans? I plan on being a nurse anesthetist after I graduate from college. Also, I want to try and work in the neonatal unit!

How would you describe your fashion style? I would describe my fashion style as girly. My favorite places to shop are Anthropologie and Francesca’s.

Do you have any nicknames? If so, what’s the story behind it? My whole family calls me “Cay Cay”. The whole nickname started because when my cousins were little they couldn’t pronounce Caitlyn, so they all started calling me “Cay Cay”. My family still calls me that to this very day, which is kind of embarrassing in public.

If you had to describe your life in one word, what would it be? Fortunate! I have wonderful friends and family that always support and protect me with their never failing love.

Biggest fear you have overcome? I have yet to overcome my fear of roller coasters. When I was six years my family and I went to Disney World. There I rode space mountain with my parents and was scared to death the entire time! The experience was so awful and I have yet to get on a roller coaster since!

Do you have any pet peeves or something that makes you angry? When people borrow my stuff without asking and very slow drivers! Both of these things know how to annoy me to no end!

If you had to sing a karoke song what would it be? Something by Taylor Swift or some country artist! But I would try every way possible to get out of having to sing!

What do you like most about Craig Hewitt Photography? Meeting and working with new people! Everyone I have met so far is great! Also the pictures that Craig takes are absolutely amazing!

Thanks Cay Cay Caitlyn for being YOU! You are an outstanding individual and a perfect fit for a CHP Senior Rep!

  • Shannon Beckham Berley - November 2, 2011 - 11:32 PM

Hey Craig! I would LOVE to take a class from you! However, I can’t afford it right now and I don’t even have a laptop, but PLEASE keep me in mind in the future! I love photography–more so landscape and nature, but people can be great too…just not posed too much. That’s one of the reasons I love your photography so much! I am in awe of you and your work! You are such a fantastic person! Hope the class is fantastic and again, keep me in mind in the future!

  • admin - November 2, 2011 - 11:36 PM

Shannon, thanks for the kind words about my photography. I would love for you to take my class one day. I was just like you and I loved to photograph landscapes and nature…slowly it lead to photographing people which is a totally different ball game but a lot of fun! I will keep you in mind for future classes! Hope you and your family are doing well! 🙂

  • Bill Salter - November 5, 2011 - 1:37 PM

    I’m not sure whether I have a DSLR. I have a Canon Powershot SX10IS.

    Also, what are the hours?

  • admin - November 5, 2011 - 4:42 PM

hmmm…not sure if that is one or not. Can you change out the lens for another one?

I’ve been so blessed this year with an AMAZING group of Senior Reps! Each one of them has their own personality and uniqueness!  So with that in mind, I thought I would do something different with my 2012 Senior Reps and do a personal interview with each of them so you can get to know them better. Each week I’m going to “spotlight” a 2012 Senior Rep for CHP. The lucky person chosen first for this year is Miss Emma!

What High School do you attend?
Irmo High School

After college what are your plans?
I want to become an occupational therapist and eventually get married and have kids.

How would you describe your fashion style?
I would describe my fashion style as girly. If I could shop at only one store for the rest of
my life it would be Francesca's. I love to wear anything blue or gray and anything with
ruffles on it!

Do you have any nicknames? If so, what’s the story behind it?
My family will call me "Em" or "Emmie", and those are just shortened versions of my name. And
sometimes my friends will call me "Memma", but I have no idea how that started.

If you had to describe your life in one word, what would it be?
In one word, I would describe my life as blessed. I have the most amazing people in my
life--my mom, dad, grandmother, and my best friend. They are always there for me and I'm so
lucky to have them.

Biggest fear you have over come?
I wouldn't say that I've overcome my fear, but I'm terrified of watching scary movies. And
that is such a wimpy fear to have, but I'm such a baby when it comes to horror. But since
freshman year, I've watched about 5 scary movies, so I guess you could say that I'm
progressing!

Do you have any pet peeves or something that makes you angry?
I have two major pet peeves. The first one is when people smack their gum or makes gross
noises when they eat. The second one is when people drive under the speed limit!

If you had to sing a karaoke song, what would it be?
If I had to sing a karaoke song, I think I would pick a super easy song like YMCA or something
like that. I'm a horrible singer and I think I would be way too scared to do karaoke in the
first place!

What do you like most about Craig Hewitt Photography?
There are millions of things that I like about Craig Hewitt Photography. One of the main
things I love is that the pictures are so personalized and unique to the clients. I don't
think Craig could take a bad picture!

Thanks Memma Emma for being YOU! You are an outstanding individual and a perfect fit for a CHP Senior Rep!

  • Logan Schumpert - October 26, 2011 - 8:17 PM

  • Caitlyn Etherington - October 27, 2011 - 11:47 PM

Love this! Your pictures are amazing! One of my biggest pet peeves is when people go under the speed limit! I always get behind that one person when i am in a rush! Super annoying! But love your pictures, so pretty 🙂

  • Chandler Degenhart - October 28, 2011 - 10:50 AM

I final had the opportunity to shoot a senior photo shoot at the SC State Fair! Jessica, a wonderful senior from the Class of 2012, got in touch with me when I posted on my facebook fan page that I would like to do a photo shoot at the SC State Fair. She was up for some fun and creativity! We even created a “pretend story” so if any one asked us what we were doing or why were we taking photos at the fair, we were going to say that Jessica was a model who just flew in from L.A. for a photo shoot with this really cool photographer from Chapin. 🙂 Needless to say, no one asked us what we were doing but A LOT of people sure did stop and stare at us…It’s fun getting the attention of others! So….Here is what we came up with.

  • Lindsay Alexander - October 25, 2011 - 8:05 AM

These pics are so much fun! And it’s totally cool there was a stand for Jessica’s Funnel cakes 🙂 Craig, I know that the Alexander family would LOVE you to take our pics next year at the fair. These are AWESOME!!

  • Jessica Murray - October 25, 2011 - 3:57 PM

I LOVE THEM! Thank you so much! You made the setting so comfortable to take the pictures… even with all the people around! Aprreciate it 🙂

  • Marissa Hughey - October 25, 2011 - 5:22 PM
