I’ve been so blessed this year with an AMAZING group of Senior Reps! Each one of them has their own personality and uniqueness!  So with that in mind, I thought I would do something different with my 2012 Senior Reps and do a personal interview with each of them so you can get to know them better. Each week I’m going to “spotlight” a 2012 Senior Rep for CHP. The next lucky person chosen is Miss Emilie!

What High School do you attend?
Dutch Fork

After college what are your plans?
I want to go to med school and become a dermatologist in the long run.

How would you describe your fashion style?
Wow, that’s hard to sum down into just one style. But, I would have to say my main style is chic. I love to shop and buy a little bit of every style. The key to every outfit of mine is definitely accessories!!!! My favorite store is Forever 21. They have amazing clothes in every style and also amazing jewelry.

Do you have any nicknames? If so, what’s the story behind it?
The average nicknames I get called are E, Em and Emi, but other than those three I have one special nickname that my best friend calls me…She calls me Squirt…and she has called me this since we were little. I got this name because we used to watch finding nemo everyday and I could recite every line that squirt had…he was my favorite character.

If you had to describe your life in one word, what would it be?
My life summed down to one word would be “chaotic”. On a daily basis, I am constantly running around doing something, whether it be working, school, pageants or just running an errand for my mom. I am always on the go and it’s crazy.

If you could be a superhero, what would you want your superpowers to be and why?
I wish I had super speed, super strength and the power to be invisible. Well…for starters…who doesnt want to be those three things?! With these three abilities, I could be the biggest and best at almost anything. And the ability to be invisible would allow more pranks:)

If I gave you an Elephant where would you hide it?
In a barn.

If, every time you entered a room, a theme song played to announce you, what would it be?
I would love for my theme song to be Ordinary Girl, by Rebelution. This song talks about how a girl isn’t ordinary and that she is one of a kind. That is an awesome way to be known and I would like for people to think of me that way when I entered a room.

What do you like most about Craig Hewitt Photography?
Photo shoots with the other girls and guy. It’s a great chance to meet each other and get to know one another. They are just a blast.

Irmo High School

After college what are your plans?
To attend law school in Charleston.

How would you describe your fashion style?
I haven’t worn jeans since 7^th grade.  I like khakis and polos.

Do you have any nicknames? If so, what’s the story behind it?
Freemo, one of my soccer club coaches called me that and it stuck.

If you had to describe your life in one word, what would it be?
Epic because of all the things I do.

If you could be a superhero, what would you want your superpowers to be and why?
To heal people, to take away hurt.

If I gave you an Elephant where would you hide it?
In my front yard.

If, every time you entered a room, a theme song played to announce you, what would it be?
Soundtrack to my life, Kid Cudi

What do you like most about Craig Hewitt Photography?
Seeing photos come to life and being the first male Senior Rep.

What High School do you attend?
Chapin High School.

After college what are your plans?
After college I’d like to go on to med school, since I want to be a dentist. Eventually I’d like to move out of South Carolina and somewhere in between work and play I’d like to have a family of my own also!

How would you describe your fashion style?
I would describe my style as comfy. I like to wear big flowy tops, t shirts, and my favorite pairs of blue jeans with sandals, or a loose fitting dress with flats.  That’s not to say I don’t enjoy dressing up, because I really like heels, but nine times out of ten if you see me, I’m just wearing some faded jeans and my favorite t shirt.

Do you have any nicknames? If so, what’s the story behind it?
Usually people just call me Laur. But my brother likes to call me Laurie to aggravate me. If you say it, it just rolls off the tongue nastily. It’s not fitting!

If you had to describe your life in one word, what would it be?
Content.  I’m happy with where I am in my life right now. It’s crazy and hectic at times, balancing school, work, family and friends, but I wouldn’t have it any other way!

If you could be a superhero, what would you want your superpowers to be?
I would want to be able to have super speed, like Flash.  Maybe then I’d be able to be on time for everything I do.  I also think super strength and agility would be good too, like Catwoman…because I’m not at all a coordinated person.

If I gave you an Elephant where would you hide it?
I would never hide an elephant. I LOVE elephants!! He could stay in my backyard since it’s fenced in and everybody could come and see him. I think he’d be a great addition to the family.

If, every time you entered a room, a theme song played to announce you, what would it be?
Haha, I think I would have the song “Move Your Feet” by Junior Senior from the movie White Chicks.  The beginning just kind of suggests a grand entrance followed by goofiness afterwards.  I don’t think it would get old!

What do you like most about Craig Hewitt Photography?
I love how Craig Hewitt is able to get your personality to shine through your pictures on camera! It’s tough to get that personality in a school shot when the photographer is ready for a rotation and he/she is crabby from doing the same thing every ten minutes.  With CHP it’s different, Craig is so friendly and helpful during the shoot. You’ll be talking, laughing, and really enjoying the shoot, and that’s how Craig is able to take amazing shots of anyone, anywhere!

After college what are your plans?
If I major in Sports Management like I plan to then my dream would be to get a great job managing some football team and get married and have kids!

How would you describe your fashion style?
Casual, especially for school (I wear sweats almost every day), but I love to dress up and go out also. Summertime calls for very preppy outfits!

Do you have any nicknames? If so, what’s the story behind it?
Channy, Chan, Chan-Chan, Chan-the-Man (I think I got this one because I tend to be pretty athletic, and I can take on a tough guy any day. Girl power! Haha)

If you had to describe your life in one word, what would it be?
Blessed

If you could be a superhero, what would you want your superpowers to be and why?
Super Strength and Endurance,  it would definitely help in becoming a world-class athlete. Olympics, anybody?

If I gave you an Elephant where would you hide it?
That’d be awesome! I’d probably just keep it in my backyard and hope the neighbors didn’t see it and call the zoo.

If, every time you entered a room, a theme song played to announce you, what would it be?
Wow, this is a really hard question because I love music and it’s hard to pick just one…but She’s Country by Jason Aldean comes to mind. I’ve always loved country music, ever since I grew up belting out Alan Jackson on car rides with my dad

What do you like most about Craig Hewitt Photography?
Craig is just amazing! His love of photography, his family, and God is just so inspirational! To be honest, I was very nervous before the photo shoot, and he made it so fun. It was awesome meeting all the girls at the shoot and getting to know Craig! I love how he gets to know everyone on a personal basis. Getting the occasional texts from Craig saying “hope you’re having a great week!” just make my day! 🙂

What High School do you attend?
Ben Lippen School

After college what are your plans?
After college I want to find a job as a neonatal nurse and eventually get married and have a family.

How would you describe your fashion style?
I would have to say that my fashion style switches between a j.Crew and Lucky Brand bohemian style. I love the preppy look but some days I just feel like braiding my hair, throwing on my wide leg jeans and my favorite boots. My friends like to joke that if I see anything with the word bohemian on it, I’ll buy it! 🙂

Do you have any nicknames? If so, what’s the story behind it?
My family calls me SB because my real name is Sara Elizabeth and they would call me Sara Beth and it eventually shortened to SB.

If you had to describe your life in one word, what would it be?
Definitely Beautiful! God has given me a beautiful family, loving friends and many many blessings! I am so thankful for the life He has given me to live.

Biggest fear you have over come?
I was extremely scared of the dark and I wouldn’t even go to sleep without my TV on but one night I decided to not turn my TV on and now the darker I can get my room the better!

Do you have any pet peeves or something that makes you angry?
My biggest pet peeve is when my 7-month-old yorkiepoo jumps off my bed and whines when she can’t get back up…did I mention she does this in the middle of the night?

If you had to sing a karaoke song, what would it be?
I would have to sing Miranda Lambert’s The House That Built Me. I love that song so much!

What do you like most about Craig Hewitt Photography?
There are many things I love about Craig Hewitt Photography, but Ill choose just two! The first thing is getting to meet so many new people. I go to a private school so I don’t know many people outside of Ben Lippen. Secondly, it’s wonderful to meet such a great and creative photographer who is strongly rooted in his faith for the Lord! That’s what I love about Craig Hewitt Photography!
